Aftercare moved into the very special building on our campus that is a historical site and therefore protected. While we cannot make any permanent alterations to this building, we certainly can work on the interior and make it a special place for our Aftercare children. February saw some lovely, simple but well-thought out changes that have brought about a wonderful face-lift – a new changing area, blinds on the windows, cheerful colours, a donation in the form of a welcome fish tank (now we must get the fish), new carpets, and some lovely personalized decor created by our ever talented parent Talana Bosman.
There is still more to be done – the playground area, fencing, perhaps some paint – but what a wonderful transformation already!
